Sinopsis: French-Canadian film surrounding ‘Thierry’ a country boy who has just moved to the big city of Montreal to attend literature school, and moves in with his more urbanely streetwise roommate ‘Henri’, who decides to treat the boy and himself to a couple of prostitutes. When Thierry loses his nerve and bails, he quickly finds that things have gone south between Henri and his hooker, and Thierry briskly transports Henri to the hospital to have a knife wound to his neck stitched up. Soon after, Thierry begins a distant but sexually charged relationship with the red-headed busker musician ‘Claire’, a mysterious woman who gives Henri the creeps. As Thierry becomes more obsessed with his bed-buddy, various things about her suggest that there is something very dark beneath her pale skin…and the fact that her sister is the one prostitute who attacked Henri, is only the beginning.
